Do you have a favorite place to run? Some place where you forget about the rest of the world for a while? Where you focus on the positives in life? Where you sort through your day and say hey if I can do this I can do anything?
This is my favorite place. Its mostly flat. I can let my dogs run and they get a killer work out. I turn on some podcasts, set my runmeter, grab my bear spray and I’m off.
I did some lunges and other strength exercises yesterday and boy did I feel the burn today. I ran just four slow miles with big long walk breaks in between but overall I’m just so glad I went to the woods.
