Well it’s been a while since my last post. Yesterday I went to my favorite place to run the Deep Creek Divide and managed to run 3 full miles in just over 36 minutes!!! I think, but am not positive that is my fastest time yet. I was just so happy to run 3 miles without stopping yesterday and to have a strong time was better yet! It seems like lately I have been challenged to run even a mile straight forget 2 without stopping. But I have been doing a lot of strength training lately and I think it is really paying off and helped me have such a successful run.
My new project is to create a 5K run in my local area on Thanksgiving and complete it in under 30 minutes. Last spring I ran a 5k and my goal was 42 minutes which I just hit, so this will be quite the improvement!
